The Buffalo Chapter of Ducks Unlimited will hold their 30th annual membership banquet, dinner and auction on Feb. 8.
DU works to meet the needs of waterfowl in Wyoming by creating and enhancing wetlands and associated upland habitats.
The evening will include dinner, raffles and an auction.
Auction items available will be wildlife art, firearms, sculptures, antique wood decoy, gift certificates, dinner and lodging packages, a battlefield tour, fishing and hunting trips, golf packages and more.
Tickets are $35 per person if purchased by Feb. 1 and $45 per person or $80 per couple after Feb. 1.

The evening commences at 5:30 p.m. at the Bozeman Trail steakhouse and seating is limited. The steakhouse is located at 675 E. Hart St., Buffalo.
The fourth annual Sheridan College Rodeo Banquet will be held Feb. 8.
The event is a fundraiser benefitting scholarships and operating costs for the men’s and women’s student-athlete rodeo teams.
The evening will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.
Silent and live auctions will be held and live entertainment will be provided by Justin Beasley and After the Rodeo.
Tickets are $50 per person and must be purchased in advance.

The seventh annual Fireman’s Ball will be held Feb. 15 at the Historic Sheridan Inn.
From 7-11 p.m. entertainment will be provided by the Teka Brock Band, appetizers will be served, a silent auction will be offered and a wine ladder and Harley will be raffled off.
A cash bar will be available.
For the Harley raffle, 250 raffle tickets will be sold prior to the ball for $100 each. Each purchase includes two free tickets to the event. The grand prize will be a “Firefighter Edition” Harley Davidson. Runner-up cash prizes will also be granted.
Professional photos of attendees in fire fighter outfits will be taken by FFF Photography and available for purchase.
Proceeds from the Harley raffle will benefit a scholarship for an area student. Proceeds from the event and photos will go toward the installation of a firefighters statue in front of the station.
Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased at the station, Red Velvet Bakery, Sheridan Stationary and Twisted Hearts.

SHERIDAN — The annual Pheasants Forever Banquet and Auction will be held Feb. 22.
The fundraising buffet banquet benefits the Sheridan/Johnson County chapter of Pheasants Forever and will be held at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall from 5:30-10 p.m.
Tickets are $60 each or $90 per couple and purchases include a membership in the organization.
Raffle tickets for a Can-Am 500 four-wheeler and a raffle for 10 special guns will be sold separately for $20 each.

SHERIDAN — Warehouse 201 will host the next Thankful Thursday event on Thursday.
From 5:30-8 p.m. Sheridan Foster Parents Exchange will be honored with the fundraiser.
Admission is free, a silent and live auction will be held, live music will be played by Terry Garrison and all proceeds will benefit the organization.
Tickets will be sold at the door for $25 and will offer 10 percent off purchases made throughout the evening, a $250 cash give-away, door prizes and other surprises.

The Best of the West BBQ Fest committee will host a Fat Tuesday celebration to kick-off their fundraising season. On Tuesday at 6 p.m. complimentary appetizers and music by the Teka Brock Band will be provided at the Black Tooth Brewery. “Sundae cups” of coleslaw, baked beans and BBQ pork will be sold with all proceeds supporting the Best of the West BBQ Fest competition. The 2014 Wild West Wine Fest is coming March 7 to Warehouse 201. This annual primary fundraiser for the Downtown Sheridan Association will serve heavy hors d’oeuvres throughout the evening and present over 100 wines, beers and spirits to taste. Tickets are available now for $50 per person, which includes food, alcohol tastings, a complimentary tasting glass, a tasting booklet and a bidding number for the auction. The United Methodist Women will host the annual Spring Salad Luncheon on Thursday. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church “March Gladness” will serve an all-you-can eat lunch for $7 a person. The proceeds will benefit the UMW mission projects. The Volunteers of America Northern Rockies will host their annual Empty Bowl Event Thursday. The fundraising event serves attendees a simple dinner emulating what one might eat at a soup kitchen served in a handcrafted bowl and accompanied by music from Canary Joe, a silent auction, face painting for kids and more. Attendees keep their dinner bowls as reminders about homelessness. The event will run from 5-8 p.m. at the Sheridan County YMCA. A Stroke Awareness fundraiser on behalf of Troy Winder of the Sunset Cafe will be held at Tongue River Middle School on Friday. The Sheridan County 4-H club will host their annual carnival fundraiser on March 15. From 3-7 p.m. at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall a chili supper, cake walk, dunk tank, duck darts, treasure hunt, and more food and activities will be offered. The Dog and Cat Shelter will host a “Spring-FUN-Raiser” event March 29th. From 5-8 p.m. at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall, food and fun for the entire family will be offered. Children’s games will be played with a kid’s only bucket raffle for prizes. Other activities will include live music, a “Dog House” to which you can consign friends, chair massages, face painting and more. A colon cancer awareness event will be held March 29 at the Historic Sheridan Inn. “Bottoms Up Bash!” will commence at 7 p.m. and will feature country rock band Narrow Gauge from 8 p.m. to midnight. Attendees must be 21 or older and are invited to “wear blue and dance until they’re blue.” Admission is $10 and will include hors d’oeuvres and give-aways. A cash bar will be available.
