The Parent Partnership will meet next Monday at Sheridan High School. On March 10 at 6 p.m. topics will include teacher appreciation in May, expanding the adoption of technology, the Graduation Task Force Executive Summary and an overview of “where we’ve been, where we are and where we are going,” at SHS. The meeting will commence at 7 p.m. at the Trail End State Historic Site.
TEG sponsors at least one major event each year, the Holiday Open House during the first weekend of December.
Membership dues start at $5 a year and meetings are typically held monthly on the second Tuesday.
Guests are welcome and encouraged to attend the meeting.

The WYO Theater will present “Live from The Met: Massenet’s ‘Werther’” on Saturday at 11 a.m. The performance is part of the series “The Metropolitan Opera: Live in High-Definition” which transmits opera performances to movie theaters and other venues around the world as part of The Metropolitan Opera’s efforts to reinvigorate opera and reach out to a broader public. The program allows audiences to experience the production at the same time as the audience in New York. “Werther” stars two of opera’s biggest artists, Jonas Kaufmann and Elina Garanca, appearing for the first time together at the Met. It is directed and designed by the team behind “Carmen,” Richard Eyre and Rob Howell. Tickets are $18 for adults and $9 for students.
