A Christmas Bazaar will be held on Saturday at the Story Women’s Club clubhouse. From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. handcrafted items, jewelry, fresh coffee, honey and baked goods will be available. The clubhouse is located at 28 N. Piney Rd., Story. For more information contact Lauri Kraft at 683-2763.
The United Methodist Church Cookie and Candy Sale will be on Dec. 14.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. over 1,000 homemade cookies and candies will be available including gluten-free and sugar-free varieties.
Shoppers can mix and match for $6 per pound.

The Wellness Council of Sheridan County and The Food Group are sponsoring a presentation by registered dietician Georgia Boley on how children can be both hungry and overweight simultaneously. Members of the community are invited to understand the effects of hunger and overweight on children and identify ways they can help address the problems. Boley will also discuss with students how hunger can strike any household and ways they can take action in their school and community to feed hungry children and families. The discussion will take place Dec. 16 at 6:30 p.m. at the Sheridan College Science Center room 104. For more information contact SC at 674-6446.
