UNPLUG: Grand finale camping trip @ Kendrick Park
May 22 @ 6:00 pm – May 23 @ 8:00 am

SHERIDAN — The Unplug Finale event will offer an introduction to camping in a fun and safe environment by allowing families to camp for the night in Kendrick Park. A bluegrass jam session with local musicians as well as bonfires and s’mores will highlight the evening and free breakfast for campers will be offered the next morning.

Story Elementary School concert @ Story School

SHERIDAN — Students at Story Elementary School will give a spring musical performance at 6:30 p.m. May 22 at Story School.

The concert is free and open to the public.

Story School is located at 103 Fish Hatchery Road in Story.

Tween Challenge Takeover — K’nex @ Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library
May 26 @ 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm

SHERIDAN — The Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library will continue to offer programming for “tweens” through May.

Next week’s “Tween Challenge Takeover” programs will focus on fiber art.

“Tween Challenge Takeover” is geared toward kids in fifth through seventh grades.

The program includes activities and experiments that draw from the fields of science, technology, engineering, art, mathematics and the “maker-space” movement.

The programs are held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-5 p.m. in the Children’s Theater at Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library.

The following is the schedule of activities planned through May:

  • May 26 and 28 — K’nex
