SHERIDAN—The Sheridan Fulmer Library will host an artist reception for Charlotte Mehmke on Wednesday from 4-6 p.m. on the mezzanine. Mehmke’s work is currently displayed in an exhibit titled “Women’s History: Founding Mothers” on the library’s mezzanine. SHERIDAN—Landon’s Greenhouse invites the public to two workshops on Saturday.
The first one at 10 a.m. focuses on Fall bulbs, the what, where, when, and how. Learn the techniques to have a beautiful Spring show. Then at 11 a.m. the workshop will focus on layered bulb pots.
Jessica Bohnsack will teach you how to “force” Fall bulbs to get early growth and blooms the following Spring. Plant your own container of various bulbs, leave it at Landon’s over the winter, and then pick up a finished product in February.
Because space is limited, Landon’s recommends pre-registration for all workshops. Call 672-8340 to sign up, or stop by the Greenhouse at 505 College Meadows Dr.
More information about all of the free Spring workshops can be found online, at www.landonsGreenhouse.com.
