SHERIDAN— Santosha Yoga will be offering a free week of yoga and meditation Sept. 2-8.
Participants will get the chance to choose one free class during the week, receive discount prices for fall sessions, enter daily drawing for chamber bucks, and donate and vote for a local non-profit of your choice.

SHERIDAN— The Sheridan County Fairgrounds will be the host for “Sludge Trudge”, a 5k muddy obstacle run on Saturday. Competitive waves start at 9 a.m. with non-competitive waves from 10a.m. until 12:30 p.m. The kids race is at 1:30 p.m. with a harvest festival dinner at 7 p.m. If you plan to stay all day, bring lawn chairs, clean clothes, shoes and a towel. SHERIDAN— The Wyoming Department of Education will hold a public comment hearing in Sheridan Tuesday, Sept. 9. As required by statue, the WDE is seeking public comment on proposed changes and additions to the content standards in areas such as English, language arts and mathematics. There have also been additions for new standards in the content areas of social studies, physical education, and career and vocational education. The public hearing will be in room 164, Griffith Memorial Building at the Sheridan College, 3059 Coffeen Ave. from 6-8 p.m.
