18-hole Scramble Fundraiser @ Powder Horn Golf Community

SHERIDAN— The Big Horn Homebuilders Association is holding a golf fundraiser Friday. At 1 p.m. out at the Powder Horn, there will be an 18-hole scramble, hole prizes and drawings. The cost is $100 per person and $5 a mulligan. For more information call Kathy Sampson at 672-5732.

Big Horn Women’s Club meeting @ Clubhouse

BIG HORN—The Big Horn Women’s Club is having their first fall meeting Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the clubhouse. Participants will be informed of the history and etiquette of tea by French pastry chef and food historian Louise Morand. Dress for a tea party, including hats. Joey’s Fall Fly II fundraiser @ Sheridan County Fairgrounds

SHERIDAN—Joey’s Fall Fly II is having a fundraiser Friday and Saturday, Sept. 19 and 20. On Friday, come meet the teams and listen to The Craft Brothers at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the gate. Starting at 6 p.m. there will be live music and hors d’oeuvres as well as live and silent auctions. After the teams have paired and drawn their fishing locations on Friday night, they will be on the water Saturday at 9 a.m. Teams consist of an angler and a student. Wolf Creek Wrangle on Saturday @ Eaton's Ranch

SHERIDAN— Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Bighorns is holding the ‘Wolf Creek Wrangle’ Saturday, a fundraising marathon. Registration is at 8 a.m., and the race starts at 9 a.m. out at Eaton’s Ranch. The half-marathon is $50 to register, the 10k is $45, the 5k is $40 and kids run and hike for free. Birding at the Brinton scheduled for Saturday @ Brinton Museum

Girl Scouts seeking members and volunteers @ Subway in Walmart

SHERIDAN—The Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming is seeking members and volunteers. They will be at the Walmart Subway on Saturday from 3-5 p.m. If you sign up for the Girls Scouts, you will receive a free six inch sub sandwich, and bring a sock for a fun craft. Blacktooth Brewing non-profit Tuesday @ Blacktooth Brewing

SHERIDAN— Blacktooth Brewing will host a non-profit event on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. For every pint sold, one dollar is donated to the Wild West Wreckers. The Wild West Wreckers are Sheridan’s first women’s roller derby team. There will be raffle prizes throughout the night, door prizes, and food vendors. Final Sheridan Farmer’s Market @ Grinnell Street Plaza

SHERIDAN — The next and final Sheridan Farmers Market will be held Thursday on Grinnell Plaza. From 5-7 p.m. vendors will sell produce, arts and crafts and more as live music, children’s activities, demonstrations and nonprofit booths are hosted. This week’s activities include an acoustic set by Bill Heide. Attendance is free for customers and vendor booths are available to rent.
