The Sheridan Memorial Hospital Foundation will host its 2014-2015 annual meeting and report on Tuesday from 4-5 p.m. at Sheridan Memorial Hospital in conference room A&B.
The meeting is open to all members of the community.
The accomplishments of the foundation over the past year will be recognized, retiring board members will be honored and attendees will hear a hospital update from Sheridan Memorial Hospital Chief Executive Officer Mike McCafferty. There will also be a special guest sharing her story about her journey through cancer diagnosis and the treatment she received at the Welch Cancer Center.
Light refreshments will be served.

Concerts in the Park will return to Kendrick Park Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy a family friendly outdoor concert in the park.
This week’s concert will feature the Wyoming Jazz Group and the Sheridan Concert Band, directed by Ariel Downing.
The concert is free and open to all. Food concessions will be available.

The Sheridan Kiwanis Club will again be giving away free children’s books at the library. Children of all ages are invited to visit the Children’s Library inside the Sheridan Fulmer Public Library on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to noon to receive a free book. For more information, call Michelle Havenga at 674-8585 ext. 119. Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library is located at 335 W. Alger St.
The Brinton Museum, Sagebrush Community Art Center and Science Kids will present “Field Sketching for Children” on Thursday.
Local artist Joel Ostlind will host a field sketching workshop for children 8 to 12 years old on The Brinton Museum grounds.
Participants will meet at the Sagebrush Art Gallery located in the Historic Train Depot at 201 E. 5th Street at 8:30 a.m. and ride the Science Kids bus to The Brinton Museum. The bus will return the participants to the Sagebrush Art Gallery at 1:30 p.m.
Art supplies will be provided; participants need to bring their own water, lunch and snack.
Cost is $35 per child.
