‘Dining for a Cause’ set for Oct. 3 at Frackelton’s to benefit SHS programs @ Frackelton’s

SHERIDAN — Dining for a Cause will take place at Frackelton’s on Monday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4-10 p.m.

The event will support Sheridan High School’s We the People team and the new Computer Programming Club.

Frackelton’s will donate all sales for the day.

Attendees will get the chance to meet students and advisors from the clubs.

Food Expo to include Farmers Market Fall Festival @ Sheridan College.

SHERIDAN — The Sheridan Farmers Market Fall Festival will take place Oct. 8 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Sheridan College.

The event will include an array of producers, artisans and informational booths. Music will be provided by Crook Mountain. There will be apple pressing, a pumpkin patch, exhibits and a pie baking contest. A discussion panel on Local Food in Sheridan, “Eating, Growing and Selling Sheridan” will take place at 11:30 a.m. in the Atrium.

Chili cook-off, dance planned for Dayton @ Dayton Community Hall

DAYTON — The third annual chili cook-off for the Dayton School Benefit Club will take place 5-9:30 p.m. on Oct. 8 at the Dayton Community Hall. Proceeds will support the Dayton School Benefit Club.

The cost for complete dinners is $5. Dinner includes homemade chili, applesauce and homemade cinnamon rolls.

Activities for the evening will include chili tasting from 5-6 p.m. and then live music and a dance with Mick Johnson from 6:30-9:30 p.m.
