SHERIDAN — Every Tuesday, beginning March 10, the Sheridan Senior Center will host “Love a Book” at 10 a.m. in the center’s community room.
Jackie McMahon will read aloud to attendees. She will begin with some of John Erickson’s stories, such as “Hank the Cowdog.”
The new program is geared toward older adults who love books, but whose vision may be preventing them from reading.

SHERIDAN — The Wyoming Wilderness Association is launching its second year of the Young Ambassadors for Wilderness program.
The WWA is currently accepting applications from youth between 12-18 years of age.
With a curriculum geared toward young adults who are interested in becoming the next generation of wilderness leaders, in this program students will learn about the work that goes into protecting wild lands for future generations. Students will be presented with unique opportunities to work with professionals in the field, learn about the wilderness in their own backyards and complete a capstone project to present at the culmination of the program.
For additional information, contact Lily Bliss at 672-2751 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Applications must be submitted by March 20 and can be found online at wildwyo.org.
