SHERIDAN — The Downtown Sheridan Association will hold its annual meeting at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27, in the community room.
The meeting will introduce new board members, elect new officers, recap the past year’s activities and discuss future projects.

SHERIDAN — An informational meeting on the voter initiative Peggy A. Kelly Act will take place at the Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library Inner Circle room on Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
The act would allow medical cannabis and hemp production in Wyoming. Wyoming NORML will present and encourages attendees to bring questions. The group has been circulating a petition to put the issue on the ballot.
The library is located at 335 W. Alger St.
SHERIDAN — Eagles No. 186 will host a candidate meet and greet Aug. 3 from 6-8 p.m. This is a chance for the public to meet the candidates and ask questions. All are welcome to attend.

SHERIDAN — A start your own business workshop will take place Aug. 4 at Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event is geared toward people over the age of 50 and will cover the knowledge needed to start and grow a small business, but all who wish to gain information about business are welcome to attend.
