‘Laughter – Always the Best Medicine?’ night of one-act plays @ Carriage House Theater

SHERIDAN — The Civic Theater Guild will present its final production of the 2014-2015 season next week.

“Laughter — Always the Best Medicine?” is a collection of seven hilarious one-act plays featuring 22 local men and women cast by director Pat Tomsovic. Many are veteran actors, but eight brand new thespians have tossed their hat into the acting ring.

A Sunday matinee will be offered at 2 p.m. May 3.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for seniors, military and students. They can be purchased at the WYO Theater box office, located at 42 N. Main St., online at or at the Carriage House Theater one hour prior to showtime.

The Carriage House Theater is located at 419 Delphi Ave.

‘Willow Dieback and the Condition of Willow Communities on the Bighorn National Forest’ lecture @ Sheridan College Science Museum / Mohns Center

SHERIDAN — The Sheridan College Museum of Discovery Science Lecture Series will present a lecture on “Willow Dieback and the Condition of Willow Communities on the Bighorn National Forest” as part of its spring 2015 lecture series.

U.S Forest Service Forest Hydrologist Chris Williams will present the lecture at 7 p.m. May 6 in the Science Museum/Mohns Center at Sheridan College.

The event is free and open to the public.
