SHERIDAN—The Sheridan College Dental Hygiene Program will hold “Miles for Smiles,” a 5K run/walk on Saturday, Sept. 13, at 9 a.m.
Participants will start in front of the Whitney Academic Center at Sheridan College and use Sheridan Pathways. There is a one-mile option for walkers.
Runners will start first, followed by walkers and strollers.
“This is a great opportunity for community members to be active, get involved with Sheridan College and support a great cause,” said Tobin Korsch, Sheridan College Dental Hygiene faculty.
Registration is $35. Proceeds will provide electric toothbrushes for Eagle Ridge Rehabilitative Services, RENEW and Easter Seals communities. Remaining funds will go toward the Sheridan College Dental Hygiene Patient Scholarship, which provides funding for qualified applicants to receive restorative dental treatment.
Same-day registration starts at 8 a.m. on Sept. 13, at Sheridan College. For more information, contact Tobin Korsch at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (307) 674-6446, ext. 3404. Additional information can be found on the Miles for Smiles Dental Hygiene page on Facebook.
