SHERIDAN — A free screening of this documentary film will be held at 7 p.m. May 26 at Centennial Theatre in Sheridan. The film follows boys and young men as they struggle to stay true to themselves while being pressured by media, their peer groups and adults in their lives to disconnect from their emotions, devalue authentic friend- ships and resolve conflicts through violence. SHERIDAN — The Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library will continue to offer programming for “tweens” through May.
Next week’s “Tween Challenge Takeover” programs will focus on fiber art.
“Tween Challenge Takeover” is geared toward kids in fifth through seventh grades.
The program includes activities and experiments that draw from the fields of science, technology, engineering, art, mathematics and the “maker-space” movement.
The programs are held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-5 p.m. in the Children’s Theater at Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library.
