Blue Ribbon Cook-off set for Aug. 15

SHERIDAN — The fifth annual Blue Ribbon Cook-off will take place at the Aug. 15 Third Thursday Street Festival.
The entry fee is $80 and includes booth space, preparation table, two 16-ounce USDA prime rib-eye steaks, a hand washing station within 12 feet of your booth and a container for presentation to the judges.
You must bring your own grill and other materials.
First prize is $500. Prizes will also be awarded for second and third places.
The entry deadline is Aug. 9.
