WEATHER FROM OUR SPONSORS
SHERIDAN — In anticipation of a busy fall, filled with beer festivals across Wyoming, the co-owners of the Sheridan-based Black Tooth Brewing Company recently announced a slate of awards bestowed on the brewery since the summer began.
The company received a total of five medals — three golds and two silvers — at the recent North American Beer Awards in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Additionally, the brewery won two gold medals at the United States Open Beer Championship in Atlanta.
“It’s nice to be recognized by your peers,” brewery co-owner Tim Barnes said. “All these competitions are judged by other brewers and other qualified judges.”
In addition to the recent accolades, the company has recently begun canning its beer for sale in six-packs.
Barnes said response to the beer’s newfound portability has been overwhelmingly positive.
In addition to planning for upcoming festivals, including the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce Brewfest on Sept. 7, managers at The Black Tooth Brewing Company are slated to submit beers to the Great American Beer Festival in October.
