SHERIDAN — Sheridan Memorial Hospital will offer its annual community blood draw and screenings Aug. 19-23.
The blood draws will be from 6-10 a.m. in the hospital lobby.
The appointment phone line opens Thursday. Appointments can be made from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays by calling 672-1196.
You can also register online at www.sheridanhospital.org starting Thursday.
Tests offered include blood chemistry/lipid-direct LDL, complete blood count, prostate specific antigen, hemoglobin A1C, vitamin D, celiac/sprue (gluten) and vitamin B-12 and folate.
Test costs range from $15 to $50.
The screenings are offered at a reduced rate, so cash or check is required at the time of service.
The screenings are not covered by Medicare.
In September, blood draw results will be mailed directly to each participant.
