WEATHER FROM OUR SPONSORS
SHERIDAN — The “Taste of Sheridan” festival will be Aug. 11 from 3-7 p.m. at Thorne-Rider Park.
Dozens of restaurants and other food vendors will be on hand with taste samples of the food they offer.
Beer, wine and soda will be available and there will be culinary presentations and activities for children.
Music will be provided by Canary Joe, The BT’s and Gary Small and the Coyote’ Bros.
Sheets of 10 taste tickets cost $15 and will be sold at the gate. Tickets may be exchanged for one taste-sized portion at any booth.
Most items will require one or two tickets.
Volunteers are needed to help with the event Aug. 9-11. Volunteers will receive a T-shirt, food during setup and a ticket to the event.
Taste of Sheridan is produced by the North Main Association and is intended to showcase Sheridan-area restaurants and caterers as well as raise community awareness about the plan for development and revitalization of the North Main area.
Net proceeds from the event will benefit projects to help Sheridan implement its vision for the North Main area.
