SHERIDAN — The Sheridan County Babe Ruth Baseball organization is the host for this weekend’s Babe Ruth 14 State Championship Games.
Games began late yesterday afternoon and continue through Saturday morning. Casper, Douglas and Riverton will compete along with Sheridan, who brings a 14-year-old team that won state last year as 13 year olds.
There is no admission charge for games, which be held at and Thorne-Rider Stadium or Redle Field in Thorne-Rider Park.
Sheridan plays Casper in the semis today at 1 p.m.
Meanwhile, the 13-year-old Babe Ruth team is playing its state tournament in Lovell, where they won last night, 8-5 over Torrington.

1 p.m. Casper vs. Sheridan
4 p.m. Riverton vs. Douglas
7 p.m. Winner of 4 p.m. game vs. Loser of 1 p.m game
9 a.m. Winner of Fri. 1 p.m. game vs. Winner of Friday 7 p.m. game
