SHERIDAN — The Kendrick family moved into the Kendrick Mansion at Trail End on July 25, 1913.
To commemorate the event, the Trail End Guilds are hosting a 100th anniversary lawn party July 27 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
There will be activities for the whole family and attendees are welcome to bring a picnic lunch to eat on the grounds.
Croquet and lawn tennis will be played, antique cars will be on display, free tours of the mansion will be offered and the “Beer Bear” sculpture drawing will take place.
In addition there will be dancing to music of the 1910s-1930s. All events are free. The Trail End State Historic Site is on the corner of Clarendon Avenue and Victoria Street.
