WEATHER FROM OUR SPONSORS
SHERIDAN — In anticipation of Sheridan-Wyo-Rodeo weekend and associated festivities around town, the Sheridan Police Department is working to remind residents that free rides home within the city limits will once again be offered from the street dance Friday and Saturday nights.
Vans will be located at the barricades at North Main Street and Alger Street near The Rainbow Bar. A banner will be hung nearby to mark the area.
Drivers will begin providing rides at 9:30 p.m. each night and will remain available until they are no longer needed.
This effort is coordinated in conjunction with the Sheridan Tipsy Taxi, which will also be available. If rides are needed into the county, participating establishments can issue $10 discounts.
After the discount, rides to Big Horn will cost $25, rides to Woodland Park will cost $5, rides to Dayton will cost $30 and rides to Ranchester will cost $25.
