Cowgirls to play in Sheridan Nov. 8

SHERIDAN — The Wyoming Cowgirls basketball team will play a non-conference game in Sheridan this fall.

Wyoming, with four players on its 2013-14 roster with connections to Sheridan County, will play Montana-State Northern Nov. 8 at the Sheridan College Golden Dome.

“The outreach game in Sheridan will allow the fans in northern Wyoming a chance to see the Cowgirls up close,” head coach Joe Legerski said in a release from Wyoming Athletics this morning.

The Cowgirls are led by returning shooting guard and Sheridan-native Kayla Woodward and Dayton-native Fallon Lewis, who this year will be joined by 2013 Sheridan High School graduate Hailey Ligocki and Sheridan College transfer Jasmine Davis.
