SHERIDAN – Rehabilitation Enterprises of Northeastern Wyoming has announced that Chris Ahlstrom has been named as the new CEO and president of the nonprofit organization.
Ahlstrom who has been serving as RENEW’s chief financial officer will continue on as CFO while now also serving as RENEW’s president and CEO. He had been the nonprofit’s acting president and CEO since Nov. 1 when Larry Samson announced his retirement after 32 years with the organization.
“I would just like to thank the board for the confidence they’ve shown in me in appointing me to this position,” Ahlstrom said. “I’m excited. I think we do have some challenges, but we have a lot of opportunity. We have a lot of good folks that work for us at RENEW and I’m just excited to get going – to make a difference.”
