SHERIDAN — The Sheridan Troopers are 1-4 through their first five games in Omaha.
After falling in their first three, the Troop earned an 11-4 win yesterday over the Northglenn Norsemen (Colorado).
They play their final game today before returning home for a game Thursday night against the Billings Halos.
Late Friday night, the Troopers fell 14-3 to Creighton Prep, using four pitchers in the loss. Tony Mort was 1-2 at the plate and Drew Adriaens had two RBIs. They fell 10-1 Friday night in their opener against the Centaurus Warriors.
Saturday, the Troop lost a 13-10 shootout with the Brighton Bulldogs (Colorado). Will O’Dell had four RBIs, and pitcher Tyler Stauffer went five innings allowing no earned runs with three walks and two strikeouts.
In the win yesterday, Adriaens pitched five strong innings, striking out nine batters without allowing an earned run.
The Troopers final game was scheduled for 11 a.m. today against the Omaha Roncalli.
