SHERIDAN — Children ages 6-10 are invited to join Science Kids and the Sheridan Community Land Trust for a field trip to the Big Horn area for an up-close and personal tour of a small-scale agricultural operation.
“Up McCormick Creek Without a Paddle” will explore the importance of agriculture to our community and follow the life a snowflake in the Bighorns. The group will also be on the lookout for wildlife and learn about local conservation efforts.
Colin Betzler will be the instructor.
Dress appropriately for outdoor activities and bring a snack, lunch, water bottle, hat and sunscreen. The trip will be from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. June 21.
