SHERIDAN — The Wyoming Wilderness Association will host a Gilead Fire regeneration and flower hike in the Bighorn National Forest June 22.
Join Bighorn National Forest employee Tony Saba and Sheridan College professor and biologist Ami Erikson for a tour of the first season of new life in the Rock Creek recommended wilderness after last summer’s Gilead Fire scored a mosaic burn in the canyon and parks of this area.
This hike is six miles round-trip and is rated difficult. For more information or to register for the hike call WWA at 672-2751 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
This hike is free and open to the public.
