Howell graduates from Washington School of Medicine

SHERIDAN — Eric Howell graduated with honors on June 1 from the University of Washington School of Medicine.
He was recognized as the Wyoming Medical Society Top Graduate, is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and a recipient of the Tylenol Future Care Scholarship.
Howell will begin an integrated cardiothoracic surgery residency training program at the University of Washington. He is a 2005 graduate of Sheridan High School and is the son of Rick and Becky Howell of Sheridan.

Area students
graduate from Chadron
SHERIDAN — Seven local students received degrees at the commencement ceremonies at Chadron State College in Chadron, Neb., in May.
Chelsea Hackwell and Mikah Kadera, both of Sheridan, earned cum laude honors.
Magna cum laude honors were earned by Yvonne Osborne and Mandy Smith, both of Sheridan.
Other graduates were Thomas Bergstad of Dayton and Kevey Boyd and Rebecca Krezelok, both of Sheridan.

Sheridan County students named to MSU honor roll

SHERIDAN — Montana State University in Bozeman, Mont., has announced its spring semester dean’s honor roll.
To be named to the dean’s honor roll a student must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Sheridan County students on the dean’s honor roll are:
Big Horn — Michael Alzheimer and Nelson Alzheimer.
Parkman — John Hannahs.
Sheridan — Baylee Gates, Quentin Miller, Tyson Reese and Adrianne Swan.

Laramie County Community College announces
graduates and honor rolls

SHERIDAN — Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne has announced its list of graduates and honor roll students for the spring semester.
Molly Rae Jackson of Sheridan received an Associate of Arts degree and was named to the vice president’s honor roll.
Associate of Science graduates were Teagan James Parrott of Sheridan, and Hailee Rae Armstrong of Arvada, who was named to the vice president’s honor roll.
Hilary A. Pilch of Sheridan earned a certificate of completion.
Elizabeth Anderson and Larissa McPheeters were named to the vice president’s honor roll.
Students named to the vice president’s honor roll must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5-3.99.

students graduate from Lake Area Tech

SHERIDAN — Lake Area Technical Institute in Watertown, S.D., held its graduation ceremony last month.
Garon D. Etchemendy and Michelle A. Homola, both of Sheridan, received Associate of Applied Science degrees as physical therapist assistants.

Local student
graduates from School of Mines

SHERIDAN — South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in Rapid City, S.D., recently held its graduation ceremony.
John Ostheimer of Ranchester earned a Bachelor of Science in environmental engineering.
