McPhillips wins second place in Billings singing competition

SHERIDAN – The premier singing competition in Billings, Vocal-ocity, has announced the first round winners that will advance to the finals.
Brian McPhillips from Sheridan was the second place winner in this first round. Vocal-ocity is a competition of Billings and area singers held over five months.

The singers must pass an audition and then perform and compete in one of four shows. In the final show the eight winners, two from each previous show, compete. The grand prize is a recording contract with Mud Bug Records.

Vocal-ocity is also a fundraiser for Zoo Montana. All the proceeds of the $5 admission fee for each show goes to Zoo Montana.
