SHERIDAN — Kara Springer, a 2006 graduate of Sheridan High School, graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy on May 11.
She received the Eli Lilly Achievement Award, awarded to a graduating senior in recognition of leadership, participation in pharmacy activities and contributions to the school of pharmacy.
Springer will be completing a residency through the University of Washington at Valley View/Providence Pharmacy in Monroe, Wash., with a focus in community and ambulatory care pharmacy services. She will also be a clinical associate professor at the University of Washington School of Pharmacy.
Springer is the daughter of Dave and Cindy Shoop of Sheridan and Dan and Joette Springer of Phoenix, Ariz.
Heather Ann Schmit
SHERIDAN — Heather Ann Schmit graduated from the University of Montana with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology.
Schmit graduated in three years with highest honors, as a Davidson Honors College University Scholar and Senior of the Year for her department.
She is a 2010 graduate of Sheridan High School. Schmit will spend the summer in Nairobi, Kenya, on a mission with the Health Education and Resource Africa Team. She plans to attend graduate school in the fall.
SHERIDAN — David Bisbee graduated with distinction from Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Ore., in May.
Bisbee, a 1993 Sheridan High School graduate, his wife Lisa and their two daughters hope to return to Wyoming.
