WEATHER FROM OUR SPONSORS
SHERIDAN — The Bighorn Native Plant Society is planning a field trip to hike the Penrose Park Trail in Story on Sunday.
Participants should meet at the Penrose trailhead at the end of Penrose Lane in Story at 9 a.m.
Wear sturdy hiking shoes and bring a sack lunch and water.
There should be a good variety of wildflowers because of all the recent rain. The mountain lady slipper is found along this trail, along with many other flowers of the season. Ami Erickson will lead the trip. This field trip is open to anyone interested in learning more about our native flora. If you have questions call Erickson at 307-683-3412 or email her at email@example.com.
The trip will be cancelled if it is raining.
