Harrelson graduates
from Belmont

SHERIDAN — Jessica Harrelson of Sheridan qualified for the spring 2013 dean’s list at Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn.
Eligibility for the dean’s list requires an average GPA of 3.5 with no grade below a C.
Harrelson is majoring in songwriting with a minor in music business.
She will work as an intern in New York City this fall and graduate in December.
Harrelson has started an independent record label and is currently working on her band’s first CD release.
She is the daughter of Cheryl Harrelson of Sheridan.
Buckingham makes
NSU dean’s list

SHERIDAN — Northern State University in Aberdeen, S.D., has announced that Benjamin Buckingham of Sheridan has made the dean’s list for the spring semester. To be named to the dean’s list, a full-time student must have a GPA of at least 3.5.

Local students
graduate from Creighton University

SHERIDAN — Amber Ide and Brandy Olson, both of Sheridan, graduated from Creighton University in Omaha, Neb., on May 18.
Ide earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery cum laude degree. Olson earned a Master of Science in health care ethics.

Area students named to Chadron president’s list

SHERIDAN — Two students from Sheridan, Audra Abel and Yvonne Osborne, are on the spring president’s list at Chadron State College in Chadron, Neb. In order to qualify for the list, students must earn all As.

Blackwell named
to Chadron dean’s list

SHERIDAN — Craig Blackwell of Sheridan qualified for the spring dean’s list at Chadron State College in Chadron, Neb. The dean’s list requires a GPA of at least 3.5.
