‘Common Core’ education standards

Why is there no public awareness of the curriculum invading Sheridan County schools?

Common Core Federal Standards (aka, Common Core State Standards) has been in the mill since 2009 thanks to the $125 million dollars from the Bill and Malinda Gates Foundation.

This is an enormously expensive curriculum. The costs include teacher training, curriculum material, and computer purchase and maintenance.

All on the taxpayers’ dime.

But, the kicker is, the curriculum is designed in Washington D. C. by the “Eastern Establishment” with the goal to control what children are taught in Wyoming and across the country.
Not every state has sucked up to the “Eastern Establishment.” Alaska, Texas and Virginia said no thanks.

Nebraska and Minnesota got in, found out what it is all about and got out. Numerous states have legislative activity to get out.
Not Wyoming. Wyoming has fired their superintendent of education because she opposes it.
