SHERIDAN — Christopher Schultz received a Doctor of Dental Surgery with high distinction from the University of Nebraska Medical Center on May 3 in Lincoln, Neb.
Schultz also received the Dean’s Award for Academic Achievement and an award from the American Association of Orthodontists.
On May 2 he was inducted into the honorary dental fraternity Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
Schultz will begin an orthodontics residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s College of Dentistry in July.
Schultz is a 2004 graduate of Sheridan High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Wyoming with a degree in chemical engineering.
He is the son of Patty and Dave Schultz of Sheridan.
