Six graduate from SCOPE program

SHERIDAN — Six participants in the Sheridan/Johnson County Opportunity Project for Education program graduated May 3 in a ceremony at the Sheridan Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

The SCOPE program is a community partnership between Sheridan College, the Department of Workforce Services and other local community foundations and businesses.

It offers a 13-week program designed to provide employment training to its participants while preparing them to take the General Education Development exam to earn a Wyoming High School Equivalency Credential.
