SHERIDAN — The Wyoming Game and Fish will be holding an open house in Sheridan on disabled hunter and disabled hunter companion permits as well as other topics. The open house will be held at the Sheridan Regional Office at 700 Valley View Drive 4-6 p.m. followed by a fish and watercraft regulation meeting at 6 p.m. Monday.
At the Sheridan open house, additional proposed regulation changes will be discussed on the following topics: authorized license selling agents, commercial game bird farms, license issuance, central visual acuity disability permits and liberalizing the number of bison licenses a hunter can receive in a lifetime.
Fishing and watercraft regulations will be discussed starting at 6 p.m. following the open house.
Comments on proposed regulations can be made at public meetings, through the WGFD website at http://wgfd.wyo.gov/web2011/HUNTING-1000179.aspx or by mailing to: WGFD, Regulations, 3030 Energy Lane, Casper, WY 82604.
The deadline for comments is 5 p.m. June 7. Proposed regulations can be viewed at the same Internet site.
All comments will be presented to the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission prior to its July 9-10 meeting in Saratoga, where it will make final decisions regarding these regulations.
Game and Fish supports the Americans with Disabilities Act.
