‘What in the World?’ at library

SHERIDAN — The University of Wyoming International Studies field work program will present “What in the World?” at the Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library Inner Circle at 5:15 p.m. May 22.

“What in the World?” highlights the fieldwork that three University of Wyoming Master of Arts students from the Global and Area Studies Program did for their thesis projects.

Ranging across the globe, these presentations include subsistence farming in the Peruvian highlands, modern Muslim views of Christian and Jews in Uzbekistan and Haitian immigrants in the Dominican Republic.

This work illustrates the kind of innovative projects that international studies students typically complete for their degree.
The public is invited to come meet these students and learn about their work.
