SHS boys fight to scoreless draw with Central

SHERIDAN — The Sheridan boys soccer team had what coach Kevin Rizer characterized as “their best game of the season,” however the Broncs had to settle for a 0-0 tie with Cheyenne Central.

“We outplayed them and outshot them,” Rizer said.

The Broncs fell 2-1 to Central earlier this season, but saw several golden opportunities get turned away by the Central goalkeeper.
“Shots that 50 percent of the time don’t get saved, got saved,” Rizer said.

The Broncs will take on Cheyenne East today at noon.
