Wyoming closes with CSU Wednesday

LARAMIE (AP) — The Wyoming men’s basketball team will conclude its regular season action by hosting Border War rival Colorado State on Wednesday night.

The game is scheduled to tip off at 8 p.m. in the Arena-Auditorium.

The Pokes (18-11, 4-11 Mountain West) are seeking to avenge a 65-46 loss earlier this season in Fort Collins, while the Rams (22-7, 9-5) attempt to hang on to second place in the conference standings.

Wyoming is currently seventh in the Mountain West standings after four-straight losses.

The Cowboys are led by senior forward Leonard Washington, who has been hampered by injuries lately. Washington is averaging 13.4 points, nine rebounds and two blocks per game.

Colorado State is led by senior center Colton Iverson’s 13.9 points and 9.8 rebounds.
