SHERIDAN — Sen. Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., said Sheridan residents can expect to network and learn from seasoned innovators at his annual inventors conference this weekend at Sheridan College.
The yearly event will take place Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the CTEL presentation hall.
“As I travel the state, one of the concerns I’ve heard is the belief that many of our young men and women will have to move away to find a good job,” Enzi wrote in an e-mail to The Sheridan Press. “If you can invent something, you work for yourself and can live wherever you want. I believe that will always be here in Wyoming.”
Now in its 10th year, the conference will provide training on securing patents, developing business plans and marketing final products.
Enzi will be among other speakers at the free event, which is open to the public regardless of background or experience.
For more information or to pre-register, Wyoming residents are asked to contact Robin Bailey at (307) 682-6268 or email@example.com.
Participants can also register from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at the site of the conference.
