SHERIDAN — Tyler Johnson and Dewey Jacobs posted a two-under par net score of 34 to win the Thursday Night Nine Hole Men’s League competition at the Powder Horn.
The Johnson/Jacobs team also posted the low gross score of the night, a 37, during the two-man alternate shot format tournament.
In second place was the 36.6 net score of Paul Mavrakis and Bob Allen. The team of Dick Essex and Keith Denzler finished third with a 37.2.
In the second flight, the teams of Ryan Little and Bud Johnson and Gary Ellis and Gary Stevenson tied with gross scores of 40. The team of Stu Healy and Frank Rotellini finished third with a 36.2 net score.
Rotellini and Allen won the closest to the pin competitions.
In other golf news, Ruth Reile carded a hole-in-one yesterday at the Powder Horn. Her husband Harley watched as she drained the shot on the 95-yard par-3 on Stag six.
