12 local athletes earn medals at Big Sky State Games

SHERIDAN — Twelve Sheridan athletes traveled to Billings, Montana, over the weekend to compete in the Big Sky State Games, and all 12 of them came home with at least one medal.

The Big Sky State Games is an amateur sports festival in Montana that features athletes from Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, South Dakota and North Dakota. The event features the sports of the Olympic and Pan-American Games as well as an occasional few others.
