SHERIDAN — For the next event in a series of outings celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Wilderness Act of 1964 and the 30th anniversary of the Wyoming Wilderness Act of 1984, the Wyoming Wilderness Association will host a Ramshorn Wilderness walk Saturday.
A very difficult walk through Shoshone National Forest, the wilderness-seeking day hike is meant to get participants far into the Shoshone’s roadless areas.
Wind River District FS Wilderness Rangers will join at the Brent Creek trailhead to show off the newly-renovated Ramshorn Trail.
The walk will be approximately seven miles roundtrip.
