SHERIDAN — For the next event in a series of outings celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Wilderness Act of 1964 and the 30th anniversary of the Wyoming Wilderness Act of 1984, the Wyoming Wilderness Association will host a hike Saturday.
A difficult and intense hike, WWA staff member Jared Oakleaf will lead a 10-mile day hike of Sweetwater Rocks Wilderness Study Area.
Hikers will explore the rock formations, wildlife and historic sites in this isolated, wild and rarely visited landscape.
