SHERIDAN — The Sheridan College Agriculture Department will host monthly free youth garden activities in the Sheridan College Community/Youth garden.
The first program will be “Plant and Learn,” and will be offered Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon.
Children and their families are invited to plant a youth garden, learn to recognize vegetable plants and paint a clay pot.
Participants should bring sunblock and garden gloves and plan on getting dirty.
Space is limited to 25 children plus their families.

The garden is located next to the Watt Building on campus, at 3059 Coffeen Ave.
