SHERIDAN — The Wyoming Office of Tourism will host a series of events called “Wyoming Wednesdays” beginning this week.
Informative and interpretive programs about Sheridan will be offered at 10 a.m. most Wednesdays in June and July at the Wyoming Welcome Center.
On Wednesday Joe LaForge, a Native American Storyteller, will interpret legends and give insight in the lives, beliefs and folkways of the people who held this land before us.
The events are free and open to everyone.
Attendees are encouraged to bring picnic lunches and stay and enjoy the Visitor’s Center after each program.
The center is located off of Interstate 90 on the Fifth Street exit.
