Date posted: May 27, 2014
SHERIDAN — Summer is here, and outdoor adventures have begun. While family vacations and part-time summer jobs can keep student athletes busy, it is a good idea to include basketball camp in that busy schedule in order to maintain and hone skills for the coming basketball season. Girls’ basketball camp will be held 9 a.m. to noon June 16-19 at the Sheridan College Golden Dome. The camp will be hosted by the Sheridan Lady Generals. Camp classes are open to grades K-12 and will include skill development, shooting and fundamental instruction. Camp cost is $100. Each camper will receive a basketball and T-shirt and will get to participate in 1-on-1, 3-on-3, and 5-on-5 competitions.
For more information call or email SC women’s head basketball coach Frank McCarthy at 674-6446, ext. 4001 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
