Bonnet takes top spot at Buffalo competition

SHERIDAN — Bailey Bonnet of Sheridan won the dual meet at Buffalo on Wednesday, shooting a 79.

The Sheridan High School boys team and the Buffalo girls bested their competition during the day of golf.

“It’s good to get one last small meet in before conference,” Sheridan golf coach Larry Martoglio said.

Jacob Belles of Sheridan placed second with an 87 while teammate Alex Williams had a 94. Logan Johnson shot a 97 and Dillian Jensen shot a 114.

To save from missing a lot of school, most of the varsity team did not compete in Buffalo. Martoglio did not take the varsity girls, but the JV girls did compete. Abbey Ressler had the best day for the Lady Broncs, shooting a 125.

The Sheridan golf teams will be at Laramie for conference starting their first round on Monday and finishing up on Tuesday.
