SHERIDAN — Two officers within the Sheridan Police Department were promoted to the rank of sergeant this week. James Hill and Daniel Keller, both corporals with the department before the ceremony, were pinned after completing an evaluation process that entailed a written assessment, oral board review, administrative report and final interview with the chief of police.
Hill has worked at SPD since 2006. Keller joined the team in 2008.
