SHERIDAN — The city of Sheridan and the city landfill are hosting Trees for Trash and free landfill hours on Saturday.

Sheridan County residential customers can dispose of up to one ton of household trash per visit to the landfill and receive a free Colorado blue spruce tree sapling in exchange.

The tree giveaway will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the free landfill hours will run from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
