SHERIDAN — The 11th annual Beaver Creek Slide and second annual Beaver Creek Bike Slog will take place May 3.
Walkers, runners and bikers are invited to participate in a half marathon or 3.5 mile walk/run along the Bighorn Mountain foothills.
The events are benefits for the Sheridan Community Homeless Shelter, who receives $12.50 of each individual’s entry fee.
Walkers for the half marathon start at 8 a.m., runners start at 9 a.m. and the 3.5 mile walkers and runners start at 10 a.m. Bike racers follow the same course path as the half marathon, starting at 8 a.m., and complete two loops. All races start at the Dahlin residence at 12 S. Sharptailed Road.
The entry fee for all races is $30 and entry forms can be found at the Sports Stop or received via email by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org.
Each racer receives a long sleeved T-shirt, lunch and the chance to win door prizes. Awards will be given to the top three finishers in each race for men and women. For more information contact Claude Alley at 673-0025 or email@example.com.
